Have extra bananas . I used to throw them in the fridge in hopes I would make banana bread some day . Since that didn't happen as often as I planned, I now slice them up and freeze them for smoothies . With the option of also using them as a sweetner substituent in baking .
Slice bananas onto parchment paper . Later it if you have alot .
Freeze for a good day at least .
Then let them slightly thaw when you remove from freezer
( not too much ). Easier to get them off parchment paper. Lay bag flat to freeze, evenly dispersed . If some i happen to stick together it's easier to just give them a smack on the counter and loosen them up :)
