✨ Behind the Creation of My Ceremonial Feather Fans
✨ Each fan is a sacred piece, handcrafted with reverence and intention. The process itself is a ceremony, weaving together earth’s gifts, ancestral practices, and spirit guidance.
🌿 Harvesting with Respect
All materials are gathered with care, only harvesting what nature offers naturally. Each feather, piece of bark, or clay is cleaned and prepared with love before becoming part of the fan. 🪶
Ethical & Upcycled Materials
I work only with ethically sourced and upcycled leathers and feathers. Many commercial feather farms engage in live-plucking—a harmful practice. I seek out sources that honor the whole animal, where meat, feathers, and leather are all harvested respectfully, allowing nothing to go to waste. 🕊
Intention & Blessing
Every fan is infused with prayer, healing intention, and the medicine of the animal spirits. I charge them—and the crystals I use—in both moonlight and sunlight, calling in balance and blessing for whoever the fan will journey with.
🔥 Artisan Techniques & Earth Elements
Handles are crafted with ancient, artisan techniques such as Shou Sugi Ban wood-burning, the use of birch bark, and naturally formed clay. Each element holds its own story, carrying the energy of the earth into the finished piece.
🌌 Each fan becomes more than a tool—it is a living medicine piece, a bridge between spirit, earth, and ceremony.
