While a friend was visiting Scotland this spring she took me on her "walk about " with videos and photos of the area. Then mailed me some stones she found .
It might sound odd, but I was really excited to get rocks in the mail :)
When I held them it helped me tune into the energy of the land and experience the feeling of being there, without actually physically being there.
I was totally amazed how much the terrain resembled where I lived in Canada .
That must explain why I love the landscapes of BC so much, especially coastal areas .
As a lot of my ancestors came from Ireland, Scotland and the surrounding areas .
It's really amazing how our ancestral lands call to us on a deep soul memory level .
I wonder if it explains my affinity for islands as well or if that is also past life memories .
Possibly a combination of both .
